Jon Paucke is a graduate of Penn State University, with a degree in Economics. He’s worked for two companies since – Matthews Intl (91-1997) and Grainger Industrial Supply (97-present) in progressive sales and sales leadership roles. During his career, he has led Grainger in several areas, most notably in Sr. National Managerial roles for Healthcare Emergency Preparedness, Supply Chain Management & Sales Leadership.
Jon helped develop Grainger into an industry leading Emergency Preparedness company, building the program in collaboration with Joint Commission, the Federal Government and Vanderbilt University's NCEP. Jon has been a first responder for Grainger during natural disasters such as Hurricane’s Ivan, Katrina and Sandy and partnered and trained some of the most prominent health systems in the US. Jon served as a guest speaker to the State of NY’s Annual Health Debrief at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2007.
During the years of 2011-2013, Jon led Grainger’s Sales Contracts through partnerships with Healthcare GPO’s and served as a leader on the HSRC Board of Directors for Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey’s Graduate School of Business.
Presently, Jon is leading several teams for Grainger’s Manufacturing Sales division. In addition, he currently leads Grainger’s MidSouth Region’s Leadership Development Program, building and developing Grainger’s future business leaders. During Grainger’s 2015 expansion efforts, Jon was one of the first at Grainger to partner with Hirepurpose. Hirepurpose was developed by veterans for veterans and are committed to assist in the transition from military service to civilian career success. Jon has a significant track record in developing successful people and having an appreciation for those who’ve served. He’s committed to giving back to those who served and paving ways for those that want to serve.
