Justin is from Sacramento, California and enlisted in the United States Army as an Active Duty Combat Medic in 2009.  He is a husband to his high school sweetheart and the father of 5 beautiful children.

His duty assignments include; 1st Infantry Division out at Ft Riley, Kansas where he deployed to Iraq as the Scout/Sniper medic, Schofield Barracks Health Clinic on the island of Oahu, and is currently serving as a Healthcare Recruiter in Alabama.

Justin has been awarded both his Combat and Expert Field Medical Badge, Air Assault Badge, and was inducted into the ARMY’s Sergeant Audie Murphy Club (prestigious leadership association).

At first, what led Justin to Lone Warriors and Operation TheraPic was his own need for a therapeutic outlet. Being away from a military post and back in what is considered “civilian” life, he realized how much he relied on his brothers and sisters in arms. Photography quickly became the outlet he needed as it perfectly meshed with his passion for two wheels and the open road. He finds great fulfillment riding his Harley, meeting new people and Veterans, and capturing his adventures through pictures. From there, he decided to become more involved within the program and assist fellow Veterans struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, the struggles to reintegrate back into society,  and other injuries sustained through their military service.
